After a long career in health care, from a Community Health Educator to Critical Care Nurse to Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Nana Shames decided to switch gears and become our Operations Manager. Although she is making a jump from health care to real estate, her passion to help others is a driving force in whatever she does. She strives to listen to and anticipate clients’ needs to help make the buying and selling process stress-free.

Nana has enjoyed traveling her whole life, having lived in England and Germany, as well as many states across the US. Both of her parents are military veterans, as well as her husband, and the excitement of a new adventure with each move happened every 3 to 4 years for most of her life. After relocating so many times, she is excited to bring the best of her past experiences to The Colleen Hadden Group.

Nana loves spending time with her family and friends, working in her garden, and diving into a good book or DIY home project. Her three boys fill her heart and are always keeping her up to date on interesting facts on cars, animals, and the virtue of patience when learning and teaching novel ways to do everyday math.
