Spring To-Do Lists

I have always thrived by creating lists. I remember in college when I would write down assignments in class in my weekly agenda book and get such satisfaction from checking off each item as they were completed! My love of creating lists has continued on through my adulthood and has helped me stay focused and on top of important personal and professional goals. The sense of accomplishment and success that comes from checking something off one of my many lists is real and tangible for me.  The joy I get from that simple ✔ can instantly provide some satisfaction in an otherwise hectic day.  I know that may sound silly to many, but I have always been a task oriented person that thrives on accomplishment. My family often teases me when they see me whipping out my list for weekend projects or goal setting activities.  I truly believe in the adage that a goal is a dream written down.  These lists can be simple or elaborate, but ‘writing it down’ is the first step towards committing to the task and making sure it will happen!  On tough days or days I am not feeling as productive, I like to write down things just so I can check them off.  I am a believer that we all have our own little unique habits and making lists is definitely one of mine!

Setting goals and making lists works in real estate as well. Different lists at different times of the year can help you track and manage important routine maintenance on your house!  As we look towards the warmer spring days, I begin to think about my next To-Do List for my home.  Feel free to use my list to get you started on prioritizing your spring plans or make your own that fits your needs.  No item is too big or too small!
