Activities

In 2018, Haddon Avenue was ranked the #1 Small-Town Food Scene in America by USA Today. Taking in the beautiful scenery and abundance of locally-owned businesses, it’s easy to see how this small town could draw such a coveted title. In addition to its range of dining options, downtown Collingswood also offers an array of designer boutiques, high-end consignment stores, galleries, and gift shops.

The beauty of the town truly shines every second Saturday of the month when stores, restaurants, and art galleries host new exhibits by painters, sculptors, and photographers from around the world. Local produce, baked goods, and crafts can also be found at Collingswood’s Farmers Market every Saturday from May through November.

Cooper River Park, Collingswood’s largest park, offers trails to walk, run, or bike. There are also plenty of water activities, from canoeing, kayaking, or sailing out on the river (but no swimming allowed). In the evening, enjoy gorgeous sunsets against the Philadelphia skyline.
